Car Crash on Bintulu-Samalaju Road Leaves Three Injured

BINTULU-Three individuals, including the driver, sustained minor injuries after their vehicle overturned in an accident on the Bintulu-Samalaju Coastal Road yesterday.

According to Wan Kamarudin Wan Ahmad, Head of the Malaysian Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM) Zone 5 Bintulu, an emergency call was received at 10:30 a.m. alerting them to the incident.

In response, the Fire and Rescue Operations Team (PKO) rushed to the scene, finding a vehicle overturned on the roadside after it reportedly skidded.

“The operation commander confirmed that the driver and two passengers had already exited the vehicle upon our arrival,” Wan Kamarudin stated in a press release.

The driver suffered minor injuries, while the two passengers sustained neck, leg, and waist injuries.

The fire department assisted paramedics in lifting and carrying the injured victims into an ambulance for further treatment.
